RABEPRAZOLE 40 MG + DOMPERIDONE 30 MG is a combination of two drugs, domperidone and rabeprazole. Domperidone works by blocking the action of chemoreceptor trigger zone (CTZ) in brain. CTZ is responsible for nausea, gag reflex and vomiting actions. By blocking receptors in CTZ, RABEPRAZOLE 40 MG + DOMPERIDONE 30 MG helps in treating nausea and preventing vomiting. Rabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor, which works by reducing acid content in the stomach. This helps in treating stomach upset, stomach pain, peptic ulcer and other conditions due to acidity.
